Fri forms timeless outdoor furniture was born from Elsa Stackelbergs minimalist and elegant designs of the early 1960s. More than six decades later, the design language lives on - unchanged at its core.

Fri Forms furniture was designed in Sweden in the 1960s and has since become part of the Scandinavian design heritage. Created for a life outdoors, in gardens, by the sea and on the terraces where generations gather.
The timeless form is built on simplicity, balance and carefully considered proportions. The construction is as elegant as it's durable and every detail is made to age beautifully over time.
Materials are chosen with the same care: teak that develops a silver-grey patina over years, aluminium that combines lightness with strength and redwood - the classic material from the 1960s. Our cushions are crafted by hand, from the first stitch to the final button. And every piece of furniture is built to last. Many of our costumers still use Fri Form pieces after 30, 40 or even 50 years.
